The Cape May Maritime Museum is dedicated to preserving the United States Coast Guard and commercial maritime history of the Cape May, NJ area. CMMM's current undertaking is the restoration of the Motor Lifeboat CG 36538. Our goal is to maintain the historical accuracy, design and operation of the original motor lifeboat and to make it seaworthy in order to offer a unique educational floating museum experience.
